Hi, I'm Anujin
I'm a girl, 7 years old and live in Mongolia.
The child was first brought to kindergarten by her mother in October 2021. She was at home care without any physical therapy. Her mother heard from a friend that there was a state special needs kindergarten nationwide in Ulaanbaatar. Parents were happy that their daughter was able to get physical treatment every day. Upon arrival, she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy combined with intellectual disability. She could not crawl or stand but only sat independently. Anujin had involuntary movements. She was non-verbal and did not understand any conversation. She had difficulties adjusting to the new environment. She had a big red birthmark on the left side of her face. She was totally dependent on mom and teachers. She lives with her parents and her older two sisters and brother. Her father works full time; her mother doesn’t work to take care of her children. They live in apartments.
