Hi, I'm Azjargal
I'm a girl, 6 years old and live in Mongolia.
Tarialan soum of Khuvsgul province is located 600 km away from Ulaanbaatar city and 200 km away from the center of Khuvsgul aimag. Even though Tarialan is the largest soum that has advance development of agriculture, there are number of social issues in relation with its large number of populations. Most households don’t have sustainable income source and majority of them have seasonal work based on environment and livestock farming. Azjargal's family live in the soum. The parents are unemployed and has two children. Their one child has health problem. The mother takes care of the children. Without sustainable monthly income and unable to support their children, the parents approached the Committee for Supporting Livelihood of soum for help. The Committee asked us to support this family and we enrolled Azjargal in the Family Strengthening Program.
Azjargal had congenital cardiac disease during admission into the program.
Azjargal lives with her parents and her sister. Her sister is student of public school. Her parents did not receive an education and the father could not find a job in the soum. Her mother takes care of her. Azjargal needs regular care. The family lives in the difficult situation. The family’s income is money from the Social Welfare Service. It is not sufficient to fully support both of her and her sibling’s necessary supply and daily meal.
