Hi, I'm Mesele
I'm a boy, 12 years old and live in Ethiopia.
Mesele is a hearing and normal child but, his family is in a difficult position to address his basic and educational material needs due to their poor economic status. The opening of Yesus Mena School for the deaf and the child’s enrollment in Holt’s sponsorship program helps him pursue his education.
He was in good health upon admission.
Mesele lives with his parents, two brothers and one sister. He is the second born in the family among his siblings. His father is a farmer and his mother a housewife. The family dwells on subsistence farming and struggle to address their children’s basic and educational material needs due to their poor economic status. Nonetheless, his family is a strong believer that education paves the way for a better future in children’s lives and ought to be pursued by all means to break the cycle of poverty. Mesele is a grade one student in Yesus Mena School for the deaf.
