Hi, I'm Aijing
I'm a girl, 9 years old and live in China.
Aijing Ding's father suffers from coronary heart disease and requires daily medication. He usually works as a farmer in their rural hometown. Her mother has gallbladder polyps and fatty liver. For Aijing's education, they live in a rented house in the county town with an annual rent of 1,600 Yuan ($229). The family's primary source of income comes from her father's 1.7 acres of farmland, earning a little over 10,000 Yuan ($1,429) annually. Aijing has two older sisters. The eldest sister only completed junior high school and got married in another city. The second sister recently graduated from a post-secondary and now works in a restaurant but cannot fully support herself and still requires financial assistance from the family. She hopes to go to college next year, and her education expenses from vocational high school to post-secondary are more than 20,000 Yuan annually. Currently, the family has nearly 200,000 Yuan ($28,571) in debt.
