Hi, I'm Pharin
I'm a girl, 12 years old and live in Cambodia.
Pharin was selected through the recommendation from her village chief. She belongs to a very poor family in the community. She has not sufficient food to eat and lacks in proper education. She looked physically and mentally fine at the time of enrollment into the program. She does not have good hygiene and dress well yet. Pharin lives with her aunt’s family such as an aunt, an uncle, and a cousin. She has a younger sister. Her parents got divorced 4 years ago. Her mother remarried and had a child; she lives with her second husband in Takeo province and keeps her to stay with her aunt, and visits her 1 time a year, and she sends money 10$ a month to support her daughter. Her uncle is a construction worker in Battambang. Her aunt stays at home to take care of her and child. Her cousin is a student in 3rd grade. The family lives in a difficult situation, lacking of foods, rice and money to support their children. Therefore, Pharin needs sponsorship in order to support her education.
