Hi, I'm Kanika
I'm a girl, 12 years old and live in Cambodia.
Kanika belongs to a very poor family in the community.
She looked physically and mentally fine at the time of enrollment into the program.
Kanika lives with his parents, grandmother, a younger brother, and a cousin. This family lives in their own house (6x6 meter) made of zinc wall and roof rusty. They cannot sleep when the rain falls because their roof leaks. They do not have land for growing rice. Her grandmother is old; she stays at home to take care grandchildren. Her brother and cousin are students. Her parents are construction workers in Phnom Penh; they visit home two times a year, but they send some money (40$/month) to support their children every month. The family lives in a difficult situation, lacking of foods, rice and money to support their children. Therefore, Kanika needs sponsorship in order to support her education.
