Hi, I'm Chantrea
I'm a girl, 10 years old and live in Cambodia.
Chantrea was introduced to Holt Cambodia program by the chief of Svay Pak village because of family condition is poor, so her parents lack of ability to support children to school.
Recently, she is suffering from fever and has not taken any medication yet. Her nail looks clean and her hair is organised.
She lives with the family with financial difficulty and because of this reason, she really needs Holt to support on education and other interventions. The main income is from her father who is blacksmith, he can earn 5$ per day, and mother is housewife. That is why this income is difficult to cover the daily expends. In addition, she is now pregnant, she needs to stay at home to take care of herself and look after the children. This family has to pay for rent fee, food, clean water, medical, electricity, clothes and child education. The family situation is very difficult. The parents struggle and worry too much about their child's future.
