Hi, I'm Sokhea
I'm a boy, 8 years old and live in Cambodia.
Sokhea was introduced into our program by the officer of Commune Committee for Women and Children (CCWC) and village chief because his family is one of the poor families in the communities. His ear can hear well and his eye can see clearly. Sokhea lives with his parents, a grandfather, an older brother, two older sisters, and a younger brother. He is 4th child in the family. This family lives in a small house 4x5 meter made of zinc rusty. The family is very poor and her parents don’t have a stable job to do. They have only 20m of land for growing rice especially during their growing rice they need to pay enough moneys. His father grows rice and raises some chicken. His mother sells cake, and earns USD 6 a day, but it is not regular; she carries with heart disease, so she needs to take medicines every day. His grandfather is old; he has blood pressure. His older brother is hired to weld metal, and earns USD 100 a month. His three siblings are students.
