Ponleu was selected through the recommendation from his teacher and school manager. He belongs to a very poor family in the community.
He has not had any mental and physical health problem. He does not have any parts of his physical disability. He does not clean himself well yet. He rarely wears shoes.
Ponleu lives in the extended family with 5 members in the household. His father is a construction worker in Phnom Penh, and always sends money, USD 30 a month, to support the family, especially Ponleu’s education and daily meal. His mother does not have job; she stays at home to take care of him and grows rice a little bit. The family lives in a difficult situation, lacking of foods, rice and money to support their children. Through your support, Ponleu can have access to substantial resources, such as education, nutrition and other services.
