Hi, I'm Ponlue
I'm a boy, 3 years old and live in Cambodia.
Ponlue was selected through the recommendation from his village chief and Commune Committee for Women and Children (CCWC). Because of the family's bad financial situation, the child does not get sufficient nutrition intake. He looked physically and mentally fine at the time of enrollment into the program. His ears could hear well and his eyes could see clearly. He is well taken care of his mother. Ponlue lives with his parents, a grandmother, a sister and a brother. This family has a little land for growing rice. His father is the breadwinner of the family; he is a construction worker, and earns USD 10 a day, but it is not regular. His mother stays at home to take care of children. His grandmother does not have job. His sister is in 1st grade at primary. His brother does not attend school because their age is not right to attend school yet. The family lives in a difficult situation, lacking of foods, rice and money to support their children.
