Hi, I'm Raksmey
I'm a girl, 7 years old and live in Cambodia.
Raksmey was selected through the recommendation from her village chief and Commune Committee for Women and Children (CCWC). Because of the family's bad financial situation, the child does not get sufficient nutrition intake. She looked physically and mentally fine at the time of enrollment into the program. Her ears could hear well and her eyes could see clearly. She does not dress and brush her teeth yet. Her fingernail is long and not clean. Raksmey lives with her parents and a brother. She is the last child in the family. This family lives in a small house 4x5 meter made of coconut leaf with zinc roof rusty. Her father is the breadwinner of the family; he is a construction worker in Takeo province, and earns USD 7 a day; he visits home once a week. Her mother stays at home to take care of children. Her sister is in kindergarten class. The family lives in a difficult situation, lacking of foods, rice and money to support their children.
