Hi, I'm Sakana
I'm a girl, 9 years old and live in Cambodia.
Sakana was introduced by a school director. The father just came home a few months ago before the visitation day. He had his first family in another province. The mother of Sakana was the step-wife. They had been living together for five years without marriage. The father was pass-app driver and the mother picked vegetables to sell. The income of the parents was low and inconsistent. Some part of it was sent to his first family. It was hard for the family to support the children both food and education. They did not have their own house. They all lived together in the grandmother’s house. The grandmother could not help much because they got supported from other children too, but not much. The total income in the family was about 100 dollars each month. Based on the income, the family could not provide enough to children both food and education. The child needed support to continue her study.
