Hi, I'm Bovy
I'm a boy, 8 years old and live in Cambodia.
We got Bovy’s information from Commune Council for Women and Children in Norea commune that his family has not sufficient food to eat and lack of proper educational materials such as school materials, uniform, shoes, and money. He is under taking care from his mother.
His physical health is well with his age. He is 5 years old, 15kg and 98cm. He sometimes gets fever, but he gets better after he takes some medicines. He feels unhappy because his family lack of food and money, so that his father moved to work in another province and come to visit him twice days in 3 months.
Bovy is the second child in the family. He lives with his mother, a grandmother and 2 siblings. His father works a construction worker in another province, he earns $150 a month. He always sends money to support his family $100 every month. His mother is a housewife. Last year, the family borrowed about 150$ from microfinance to run a small business but unlucky their business was failing. The family has to return 50$ a month to the microfinance. As his father income cannot support the family, the family lack of food, rice, and money to support the children. Holt decided to enrolled Boran in to Educational support program so that we he could continue his class.
