Hi, I'm Long
I'm a boy, 10 years old and live in Cambodia.
Phavy was introduced by the CCWC. His family was in difficult situation. The parents had no stable job. At that moment, they were fisherman. Years ago, the father was a construction worker. Since his health went back, he could not do that job anymore. The family had mouths to feed, despite his health was not better yet, he went to caught fish with his wife and sold them at the market to earn some money for rice and other basic necessities in the house. The child needed support to continue her study.
Phavy was in good physical condition during admission. He used to have a cold or fever once in a while. He was recovered by taking medicine.
Phavy is the second child of the family. There were 5 members in the house. They did not own a house, therefore, they all lived in the grandmother’s house. Totally there were seven mouths to feed. His father was sick and he could not be a construction worker anymore. He usually went to catch fish with his wife and sold them to get the money. The income of the family was divided, not only for the food, but also the medical care for the father and the grandmother as well. The child needed support to keep studying.
