Hi, I'm Lina
I'm a girl, 9 years old and live in Cambodia.
Lon Lina is introduced by a social worker. The family is vulnerable. The parents got divorced many years ago. The father got engaged to a woman and he could support the child very little amount of money each month. The mother works as waitress in night bar and have small salary. However, with that small amount of income, the mother has to support many members of the family. The child needs support to continue her study.
Lon Lina was in good physical condition. She used to have fever and a cold once in a while. She was recovered by taking medicine. She was never hospitalized.
Lon Lina has a small family but she lives in a big family. She has only sister. Since the mother doesn’t own a house, they have to live together with her grandmother. The grandparents are currently unemployed and have no income. Her aunts are students. Therefore, all the burdens are the mother’s shoulder. She has to work more to earn extra income, so during the day she raises the chicken and sells lottery. Despite that, the income is not enough to support eight people in the family on both food and education. The child needs support to keep on studying.
