Biggest highlight of the year
The most meaningful highlight was seeing children who arrived carrying deep emotional pain begin to heal and thrive. Through EMDR therapy, academic support and music programs, many children gained confidence, reengaged in school, and joyfully performed for their families during Christmas celebrations —powerful moments of hope and transformation made possible by donor support.
What was the biggest impact that you saw?
The greatest impact was the visible change in children’s emotional well-being and sense of stability. With Holt’s support, children learned to regulate their emotions, reduced challenging behaviors, strengthened relationships, and successfully completed the school year, rebuilding trust in themselves and in the adults who care for them.
What brings the kids joy?
