One of the biggest highlights of 2025 was the depth of engagement made possible through barefoot case workers drawn from the community. Their regular home visits helped address concerns that cannot be resolved within school settings alone, strengthening family environments and providing timely emotional and academic support.
The most visible impact was steady transformation: children improved in study planning, communication, confidence and participation across academics, sports, arts and creative activities. Stories like Janani becoming a class topper, Jash with excelling across academics and the arts, and Jessica growing from a withdrawn child into a confident, expressive learner reflect this progress. Mental health self-assessments and consistent follow-up ensured that each year’s intervention was consolidated and built upon.
What brings children the greatest joy is feeling seen and supported — through home visits, encouragement, celebrations and safe spaces for expression.
