Petey is an easygoing and active boy who loves to play kick ball and ride his bicycle. He enjoys running around with his peers and playing on the play structure at the park — especially going down the slide! Petey is very friendly and warms up to new people and environments well.
Petey has a good appetite, and his favorite foods are omelets, onions, rice and grapes. He drinks milk throughout the day and takes a nap in the afternoon. At night, he likes to cuddle and sleep with his stuffed duck and will sleep soundly through the night. He is very attached to his stuffed duck and kisses it goodnight before he goes to sleep!
At school, Petey knows his friends by name, can count to 10 and has good hand-eye coordination. He is developmentally on track for his age and enjoys going to school. He understands and follows instructions well, and when he speaks, he communicates clearly.
To support him best, an ideal adoptive family for Petey should understand the impacts of grief and loss, as well as prenatal exposures.
