Learn how you can advocate for children and adoptees during National Adoption Month this year.
Join us this year as we advocate for children who are waiting to join permanent, loving families through adoption.
Around the world, we work alongside local partners to help children in orphanages rejoin their birth families. If that’s not possible, we seek adoptive families for them in their birth countries. But despite our best collective efforts, thousands of children continue to grow up in orphanages. Many of them are older in age. Many are sibling groups. And many of them have special medical or developmental needs.
For these children, we remain committed to finding them families through international adoption. Because we believe every child deserves to grow up in a family, not an institution.
This November, as we advocate for children waiting for families, we will also highlight the importance of supporting adoptees throughout their lives and elevating adoptee voices in conversations surrounding adoption. Throughout the month, we will share insights from adoptee contributors and feature Holt’s unique post-adoption services — many of them designed by adoptees, for adoptees.
