Mom consoling child with hands over her face in frustration, challenging behaviors

Robyn Gobbel, LCSW, is a psychotherapist who provides adoptive parents with knowledge and support regarding their child’s “big, baffling behaviors.” Check out her free podcast for useful information that will help you understand behavior and give you new tools to connect with your child.

Listen to the podcast here.

Robyn has been working with families for over 20 years to help parents look at their child’s behavior from the lens of relationship trauma. She states that parents must understand the neuroscience behind behaviors (which she does in a very relatable and easy-going manner) and be given tools that actually work to address connection, regulation and felt safety. Robyn also helps parents examine themselves and teaches how they can be regulated in the midst of chaos in the home.

Sometimes when looking at a new resource, such as Robyn’s podcast, it’s hard to know where to start. She has over 100 podcasts to jump into!

But Robyn has done the work and made it easy providing parents with ten podcasts in curated order so that they make the most sense building on foundational concepts.

If you are ready to plug in, become an expert on your child’s behaviors, and listen to Robyn, you can subscribe here for the podcasts to be delivered to you:  https://www.subscribepage.com/startherepodcast
