These three sisters share a close bond and love playing together. Winter, Paisley and Wendy are doing well in school and are developmentally on target compared with their peers. All three girls share a room at their orphanage.
Winter, 11, is cheerful, confident and bright. She’s inquisitive and an excellent communicator. At school, she has lots of friends and enjoys making beaded jewelry with them. She excels in school, learns new things quickly and is skilled with reading and writing. Winter loves to learn new things — including new recipes! She likes to make fried rice, fried eggs and french fries.
Paisley, 9, is active and good-natured. She enjoys sports, exercise and playing hide and seek with her friends. Paisley is a responsible and attentive student who loves learning about animals. She enjoys drawing, painting and helping younger children in her orphanage. Paisley has never been to the beach before and shares that she hopes to go one day in the future!
Wendy, 8, is a sweet and shy girl. When she first meets new people, Wendy is pretty quiet. But once she feels more comfortable, she is talkative and curious. She likes to play badminton and tag, ride bikes and run with her friends. Wendy is doing well in school and can read and write. She likes storytelling and is easy to follow. She enjoys drawing, coloring and dancing. Her favorite foods are hamburgers and catfish. Wendy loves trying new things and taking field trips with the orphanage. Her favorite trips have been going to the zoo and waterpark.
An ideal adoptive family for these sisters will understand sibling dynamics, institutionalization and attachment. A family with experience parenting older children will help these sisters thrive. Additionally, an ideal family will have access to an adoption therapist who will help Winter, Paisley and Wendy as needed.
