Nine-year-old Wilder needs an adoptive family!
Wilder’s caregivers describe him as a quiet and shy boy, but they say he is more talkative with his close friends. His caregiver says that he can be silly and cheerful with the people he is most comfortable around.
His favorite subject at school is math, and his caregiver reports that he has good focus and asks for help with schoolwork when he needs it. Wilder has a group of best friends at school. They like to play soccer together, which is his favorite activity.
Outside of playing soccer, Wilder enjoys playing computer games and spending time outside. He likes animals, including cats. When asked about his favorite foods, Wilder says he likes sweets, especially chocolate!
Wilder has expressed a desire to be adopted by a loving and permanent family. Wilder needs an adoptive family who understands or is willing to learn about older child adoption, with access to excellent educational and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) resources. He would do best as an only child or with loving siblings who are much older than him.
Could you or someone you know be the right family for Wilder?
