On a small piece of land in rural Vietnam, six-year-old Diep lives with her parents and her two sisters. Their home is a simple, one-room house — just enough to shelter a family of five.
Diep’s father works as a fisherman, often away for months at sea. At home, her mother, Mai, juggles caring for her children and managing the household on a single, unpredictable income. Diep’s family often struggled to afford even the basics, let alone school fees.
Mai had experience raising livestock and always dreamed of raising animals to help support her family. But without the resources to start, it felt out of reach…
