Seth is described as affectionate and enjoys being cuddled by his foster mom. His reports say he often has a smile on his face. He is also said to have a short attention span and is easily distracted. But he likes playing with toy cars and balls and likes to watch cartoons. Paw Patrol is his favorite.
He currently lives with his foster family. His foster family consists of his foster parents, their biological son, and another foster child around Seth’s age. In the evening, Seth and his foster mom take a trip to pick up his foster sister and brother from school.
Seth is said to have a good appetite. He typically eats pork buns or bread for breakfast. He is not a picky eater and can easily finish a full bowl of food for both lunch and dinner. Fruit is his favorite food. He can feed himself, but he spills a lot. He is motivated to brush his teeth, wash his face and dress and undress himself. But he needs help from his foster mom to complete these tasks.
His reports say that he can identify facial features and everyday objects, but he cannot distinguish colors or sizes yet. Seth initiates conversation and interaction with others. When he is upset, his foster mom gives him verbal assurance and a hug, which typically helps him to calm down.
Seth’s adoptive family will need to have excellent medical resources, as well as educational support and therapies in place to help him reach his potential. They will also need to be open to the possibility of lifelong care.
