These kind and close-knit brothers are four years apart and have expressed the desire to be adopted by a loving family. Both brothers are interested in having siblings and a pet!
David, 14, is smart and responsible. He enjoys soccer and other sports, building Rubix cubes and playing games with his friends — especially Uno! David is a caring and empathetic boy who shows emotional maturity and leadership skills. He is at the top of his class and gets along well with his classmates.
Derek, 10, is athletic and friendly. He loves playing with Legos, spinning tops and Beyblades. Derek loves playing football with his close friends and dreams of being a professional football player one day! He loves sports of all kinds and P.E. at school. Derek is doing well academically, and his favorite teacher is his math teacher. One of his favorite memories is going to the zoo and seeing penguins, giraffes and tigers.
An ideal adoptive family for these brothers will be patient, understanding, familiar with sibling dynamics and will receive training in working with older children. To help them thrive, David and Derek should also have access to a therapist as needed.
