For more than 45 years, Holt supporters have helped children and families in India create healthier, more hopeful futures through our long-standing partnerships with Bharatiya Samaj Seva Kendra (BSSK) in Pune and Vathsalya Charitable Trust (VCT) in Bangalore. Through your generosity, more than 40,000 children and families each year receive access to education, child development centers, nutritional support, skill training and vital social services for parents.
This January, we invite you to join us on a very special journey to India. Together with other Holt supporters, you’ll witness firsthand the powerful difference you make in the lives of children and families — and learn new ways that you can create meaningful change through Holt’s ongoing and future programs.
On the tour, you’ll also immerse yourself in India’s vibrant culture — exploring local landmarks, savoring traditional cuisine and more. Each experience will deepen your understanding and appreciation of the communities you’re helping.

Travel Dates
Saturday, January 16, to Sunday, January 24, 2027
Estimated Cost
Approximately $5,000 – $6,000 per person.
The range in total cost represents the varying cost of air travel depending on departure city and the type of hotel accommodation chosen by each team member. The total cost also includes ground transportation in India, most meals and a non-refundable required deposit of $1,000 per person. Deposit is due at time of registration.
All details subject to change. Due to fluctuating fuel costs, there may be an increase in the fuel surcharge that is charged to us by the airline, and in that event, we reserve the right to increase our cost accordingly.

- Meet children in Holt’s educational sponsorship program, as well as Holt-supported students in higher education
- Visit Holt-supported migrant children and families, including those who have benefited from Holt’s Child Nutrition Program and Food Every Day
- Meet women whose lives have changed through the Income Generating Program and see how skill training is lifting families from poverty
- Participate in three life-changing projects for communities and families in need
- Tour unforgettable historical landmarks in Bangalore and Pune

Registration Process
Please complete the registration form below to reserve your spot. Registration is limited to 12 participants. A $1,000 deposit is due at the time of registration and may be paid by mailed check or through our online payment form. For questions, please contact Jordan Love at jordanl@holtinternational.org.
Required at Registration
One registration form and a non-refundable deposit of $1,000 per traveler will be required upon registration. The remainder of the trip costs and additional forms will be due prior to departure. Your deposit can be paid by check or online at India Vision Trip Payment.
Flights
Holt will book flights through our travel agent, AdTrav, once all participants are registered. You will need to provide Holt with the originating city you will be flying from, your passport number and the expiration date. An advance deposit will be required for tickets in a premium class.
You may also book your own flights if you prefer, but Holt will not be able to assist you should there be any delay or issues while flying.
Entry Visas for U.S. Passport Holders
India requires a visa before entering the country. You can obtain a tourist visa in advance via the official India eVisa website and needs to be done before entering the country. The cost is less than $50 per participant. A valid passport with at least six months’ validity is required.
Deposit Fee and Final Payment
There is a non-refundable required deposit of $1,000 per traveler. This fee is included in the cost of the tour and should be paid at the time of registration. The remainder of the tour costs will be due prior to departure, and you will be invoiced for the final amount. Methods for final payments are listed below.

Extended Travel
Whenever possible, we prefer that the group travels and arrives together. If you are interested in spending additional time in India, we recommend planning your extended stay for after the tour concludes. Please contact Holt and let us know so we can help you with that process!
Recommendations
We always recommend checking the U.S. State Department’s website for any travel advisories prior to departure. Travelers should also consult their family physician regarding vaccinations or medical conditions.

India Vision Trip Registration
The traveler form consists of six pages and takes approximately five minutes per page. You may save this form and continue later. However, if you exit the traveler form, you will lose your data. Please gather the following documents for each traveler before completing the form:
- Passport
- List of medications (and reason for taking them)
- Emergency contact (name and phone number)
- Medical history
- Travel membership information
