a child sits on a train, waiting for an adoptive family

Meet Ty! He needs an adoptive family. Could you or someone you know be the right fit for this cheerful 5-year-old?

Ty is a sweet preschooler who loves playing with toy cars and watching cartoons. His vocabulary has grown significantly, and he is currently receiving early intervention services — including speech, occupational, and physical therapy — to support his progress in speaking full sentences. Ty feels most comfortable when his caregiver is nearby.

Ty is an active boy and has no trouble walking or running. Currently, he is learning how to ride a bike! He typically eats toast, noodles, meat and vegetables, but his favorite food is rice. Ty is also a great sleeper, usually staying asleep through the night.

An ideal adoptive family will provide Ty with a safe, stable and loving home. To help him thrive, they should have access to therapeutic services and special education resources.

If you think you or someone you know could be the right adoptive family for Ty, please email our waiting child team at waitingchild@holtinternational.org! We cannot share photos of Ty publicly due to country restrictions on privacy and adoption. However, the waiting child team has more photos and videos available to share with prospective families interested in adoption.
