Although the father is a regular wage earner, but the increasing prices of basic commodities makes it difficult for the father to provide the daily and basic needs of the family, more so for the educational needs. Aside from the father the family has no other means of income. Jhoenna is a bit skinny, with thin pale lips, yet looks healthy. She is attentive and smart. As a student, she is constantly one of the top ten in her class. The father is a minimum wage earner as a contractual construction worker. He is a native from the province, while the mother who is a native also of the same province, is an on-call a nail care worker. The parents are very supportive of her schooling.
