I'm a girl, 13 years old and live in Southeast Asia.
The child’s father, a sickly senior citizen, earns a living as a janitor with a P8,000.00 monthly income, while the mother is a full-time housewife. parents got separated. The couple has three children, of whom all are in school. With a monthly bill for water and electricity of P1,250 and food expenses of P15,000.00, the meager income of the father proves to be remotely insufficient to sustain the daily needs of the family, more so for the educational needs of the child. Left to himself, the continuity of the child’s studies is deemed impossible. The child needs to be supported with her educational supplies and other school-related expenses. The family is very poor. We hope that the child can finish her studies. Through education, the child can help himself and his family out of poverty.
