I'm a girl, 13 years old and live in Southeast Asia.
The child’s father is a cancer patient, while the mother works on an on-call laundry woman. The family shares a space with maternal sister. The family pitch-in to all domestic expenses like monthly house rental of P3,500.00, monthly bill of water and electricity of P1,600.00, and food expenses of P5,400.00 a month. All of the three children are in school. With all the above mentioned, the income of the mother proves to be remotely insufficient. Left to herself, the continuity of the child’s studies is deemed impossible. The child needs to be supported with her educational supplies and other school-related expenses. The family is very poor. We hope that the child can finish her studies. Through education, the child can help herself and her family become better off.
