I'm a girl, 14 years old and live in Southeast Asia.
The family’s means of income comes from the mother who accepts laundry work though the income varies per client. The father has no stable job and occasionally earns from construction works. Given the limited and unstable source of income, the family experiences financial constraints which also affect the support being provided for the education needs of the child. They would sometimes recycle the unused pages of the notebooks and would sort it with other used pages to form a new notebook. As shared, it is their problem and as seen priority needs for Sophia as she needs support in terms of school supplies and school uniform. Thus being part of the program will help the family reprioritize some oif their expenses.
