I'm a girl, 11 years old and live in Southeast Asia.
Megan is one of those selected for this sponsorship because her teacher saw something in her studies. Every child has needs, especially now that face-to-face classes are starting and the pandemic/the virus is still present in the community. The child protection against Covid-19 virus is also needed. The child also needs vitamins and a hygiene kit to prevent her from catching the virus, since her parents' money is not enough for their daily needs. The support from Holt is described by the family as a big deal, and they are grateful to Holt because, through this program, they were able to overcome their daughter’s secondary needs. In the future, the child will be able to finish and be successful with Holt’s support.
