Princess Kylie was referred to the center for temporary shelter following the death of her foster mother, while her foster father was still working abroad. The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office facilitated her referral. Upon admission to the CCA, Princess Kylie was in good health. However, she was isolated in accordance with the CCA’s health protocols. Before her referral to the CCA, she was temporarily cared for by her foster mother’s first cousin while waiting for her foster father to arrive. This was also to further assess her eventual return to her own family.
