Discover the Philippines with Holt in 2026!

For more than 50 years, Holt sponsors and donors have helped transform the lives of children and families in the Philippines. Through our partnership with Kaisahang Buhay Foundation (KBF), your life-changing support provides vital services such as education, medical care, nutrition and pathways to permanent, loving families through reunification, foster care and adoption. That support also includes programs like Independent Living and Educational Assistant (ILEA), which helps prepare young people aging out of orphanage care to thrive in adulthood through life-skills support. Last year alone, your compassion reached more than 12,000 children and families.

This December, experience the impact of that support firsthand. When you travel to the Philippines alongside fellow Holt supporters, you will engage with local programs, meet children and families, and joyfully participate in their Christmas celebrations. During your week in Manila, you’ll also be immersed in the vibrant culture of the Philippines, with opportunities to explore local landmarks and enjoy traditional cuisine.

Along the way, you will see how Holt and KBF continue to bring hope, stability and opportunity to those who need it most, deepening your connection to this life-changing work.

Holt’s 2026 Philippines Vision Trip will take place November 28 – December 5, 2026.

What is the estimated cost for the trip?

$5,000 – $6,000 per person

The range in total cost represents the varying cost of air travel depending on departure city and the type of hotel accommodation chosen by each participant. The total cost also includes ground transportation in the Philippines, most meals, visits to cultural sites and a non-refundable deposit of $1,000 per person. The deposit is due at the time of registration. The final payment deadline is November 20, 2026.

Is the Philippines Vision Trip right for me?

Are you interested in supporting Holt’s work with children and families in the Philippines? If you answered, “Yes,” we would be honored to have you join us!

Vision trip participants typically include adult adoptees, adoptive parents and families, donors, passionate travelers and people curious about the world around them. Our common desire is to witness the positive impact of Holt’s work and learn about the needs that are still unmet.

Each vision trip includes a service project, an opportunity for participants to work together to complete a project that directly benefits the local children and families served by Holt.

Physical ability or health issues are NOT disqualifiers from joining a vision trip. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment that ensures all participants have a safe and enjoyable experience. Please contact the Vision Trip Coordinator with any questions.

What does a typical itinerary look like?

Is this trip considered a philanthropic gift?

What is a service project?

Each vision trip includes at least one service project, funded by the $1,000 non-refundable deposit required for registration. Service projects vary based on location and need; physical ability is NOT a disqualifier from participating in service projects. Some examples of past service projects include:

Hosting Christmas celebrations for children in institutional care
Completing construction or outfitting of a home
Delivering livestock to families

What is the registration process?

Please complete the online registration form linked below to register before paying your non-refundable deposit of $1,000 per traveler. You will receive confirmation upon completion.

Once your registration is confirmed, the trip coordinator will email additional forms and information required for your participation.

One registration form and non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is required per traveler. The remainder of the trip costs and additional forms will be due prior to departure. Deposit and final payment can be paid by check or online via payment form.

What is the travel process, including the airline?

Flights can be booked through AdTrav, Holt’s travel agent, or you may also book your own flights (if interested in using miles or rewards). If you choose to book your own flights, you must provide Holt with the final itinerary for your flight path, including flight numbers, plus a copy or photo of the first page of your passport.

Visas are not required for this trip. American citizens with valid U.S. passports may enter the Philippines for a period of 30 days without a visa (arrival day counts as day number one). Travelers to the Philippines will be required to fill out the eTravel form within 72 hours of arrival.
