Asher

Meet Asher! Asher has a soft and gentle personality and is happy most of the time! He laughs a lot when he is with his friends and playing together, which makes everyone around him laugh as well. He is known at school for being helpful, a leader and dependable. He sometimes is shy when he meets new people but warms up soon after. He enjoys building with Legos, and playing soccer, basketball and chess! His favorite food is goulash and stir-fried noodles. His favorite cartoon he said was Spiderman because he helps save people. When he was asked what he wants to be when he grows up, he said he wanted to work with cars! He enjoys discussing automotive topics with his teacher.

He is currently attending public school and is in 7th grade. He is well respected by his classmates. His favorite subject in school is physical education and shows a particular strength in math and language. He also loves to read books and loves to tell stories. He likes playing basketball the most. He is good at making and keeping friends and knows them by name. When asked if he wanted to be adopted, he responded positively and said he would love to have a caring, loving family with siblings.

An ideal adoptive family for Asher will need to have access to a good medical team and center that can provide the necessary therapeutic resources to help him thrive as well as have follow-up doctor’s appointments.
