Meet Pia! She needs an adoptive family. Could you or someone you know be the right fit for this kind 14-year-old?
Pia is easy-going, cheerful and a leader among her peers! She is initially shy when she meets new people, but then she warms up to them! She has a few friends who she enjoys playing badminton with.
Pia focuses well and enjoys school. Her favorite subject is language. She dreams of being a nurse assistant one day. Pia has recently been learning how to cook, and her favorite foods are fried rice, shrimp, soup and chocolate cake. One of her favorite memories is visiting a lake where she enjoyed a picnic and playing in the water.
Pia would like to be adopted by a family who will be affectionate, loving and help guide her to be a good person. She hopes to have a mom, a dad, grandparents, older siblings — and a cat!
An ideal adoptive family for Pia will be kind, understanding and educated about the impact of grief and loss. Her family should be knowledgeable about older child adoptions and how to support children through change. With love and support, Pia will thrive!
