Meet Abigail! She needs an adoptive family. Could you or someone you know be the right fit for this kind and creative 6-year-old?

Abigail is a cheerful little girl who loves playing with clay, listening to stories and going on walks. Her favorite foods are rice, fish and meat. Abigail enjoys being outside and working in the garden to plant vegetables with her caregiver. She takes time to warm up to people but has been able to form positive attachments to her caregivers. Abigail has expressed a desire for her future home to have a bicycle, pets and someone to be her friend.

Abigail is currently a first grader at school where she is learning to read and write. She needs extra support at home to help her with her homework due to slight academic and developmental delays. She is currently attending occupational, physical and speech therapy twice a week to support her cognitive development.

An ideal family for Abigail will be loving, empathetic and gentle. To support her best, Abigail’s future family should understand the impacts of grief and loss. Because she will benefit from therapeutic resources and educational support, an ideal family should also be connected to a good school and medical facility.

If you think you or someone you know could be the right family for Abigail, please email our waiting child team at waitingchild@holtinternational.org!
