These sisters are a few years apart in age and share a close bond. They enjoy spending time together and look out for each other every day.
Delaney, 14, is thoughtful, responsible and artistic. Although naturally reserved, Delaney gets along great with her peers and caregivers. She performs well in school and offers guidance to her younger sister. Delaney loves journaling and drawing in her free time and dreams of becoming a police officer.
Millie, 11, is outgoing, determined and cheerful. She looks to her older sister for reassurance and the two have a lot of fun together. Millie works hard in school and shows determination as she overcomes academic challenges. Dance is her favorite hobby and she has a natural talent for it. She especially loves performing routines.
An ideal family for these sisters will be kind and understanding. To help them thrive, a family should be trauma-informed and provide resources to help Millie and Delaney work through their past and grow alongside each other.
