Nopparuj is a smiley 3-year-old who lives in Thailand with his father and grandmother. His father works as a laborer and his grandmother works as a cleaner.
When Nopparuj was just a baby, his father and grandmother worked hard to provide for the household. Living in poverty, they couldn’t provide what Nopparuj needed to thrive. As much as they tried to provide enough food and nourishment for Nopparuj, he wasn’t getting the nutrition he needed.
But everything changed the day a sponsor chose to support him.
Through monthly sponsorship, Nopparuj is growing healthier and stronger each day! Chicken and vegetables are his favorite foods.
Soon he will start preschool at a local early childhood center, where he can begin learning and building a brighter future. He’s a bright little boy — he already knows how to count from 1–10!
At home, Nopparuj likes playing with toy cars, digging in the sand and building with blocks. He is very close with his grandmother and loves to give her hugs each day. His family says he brightens the world for everyone around him.
