Theo came into care when he was about six days old. He has several orthopedic issues with his legs, including clubfoot, hip adduction, and flexion deformities of the knees. He had surgery in late 2015 and began wearing orthotics. After surgery, he began walking with a walker. He will likely need continued treatment for his legs. Theo communicates normally with his caregivers, although his pronunciation is unclear, and he smiles often. He likes to chat and play with adults. His cognitive development is a little slower than other children his age, but he has a good memory and is described as active and bright. Theo likes to play bumper cars with the other children at the park and he has a best friend who he especially likes to play with.
