We would first like to say how honored we are that you are taking your time to read our letter! We can only imagine how much thought and feelings went into your decision and we already think the world of you!
Our names are Steven and Amber, we have been together for 9 years and married for 6 of them. We have tried for many years to have children but for some unknown reason we are unable to conceive. However a child comes into our lives we will love him/her unconditionally no matter what. We look forward to sharing our love of travel, love of animals and just over all silliness in becoming parents. Love, laughter and respect are a few of many things we will have in our everyday lives.
About Us
Steven
Steven grew up and went to school on the pacific north coast then moved to WI in 2004. His upbringing was a mixture of free spirited and by the book. He got to experience a lot of ups and downs of being an only child, lots of travel and not having to share but then not having a sibling to play with.
Steven loves to relax in his hammock on nice sunny days. He enjoys to travel, loves many types of music and looks forward to cooking holiday meals for our families. What he loves most about his wife is that she loves him for who he is and never wants him to change!
Amber
Amber grew up and went to school in Northeast Wisconsin. Her childhood was fun and carefree. Her favorite memory is walking with the family every Sunday in summer to get ice-cream. She has 3 siblings and a large extended family.
Amber also loves to travel and some of her hobbies include Arts & Crafts and making Christmas candies. She loves to relax by reading a good book, doing arts & crafts or watching a movie with Steven.
Our Home & Community
We currently own a split-level duplex, we live in the bottom and rent the upper to Ambers sister and her family. It’s in a nice quite neighborhood with a wooded area near by to which we see various wildlife throughout the year. We love spending time in the backyard enjoying the firepit in the fall and in the house by the fireplace during the winter.
Our Families
Steven’s Parents, Dave and Fran
Both Retired they both love relaxing around their home and doing hobbies. Fran loves to sew and donates handmade stuffed animals to their church for Christmas. Dave loves to garden and feed the variety of wildlife in their backyard.
Amber’s Parents, Jeff and Cindy
Both Retired although still on the move, they travel to Ambers grandmas house weekly to help her with odds & ends. Cindy loves painting and doing crafts with their grandchildren. Jeff enjoys keeping up with his many bird feeders and collecting m&m memorabilia.
Pets
Meet our puppies!
Joy is an eight-year-old Lab and Basset Hound mix who loves to snuggle and give kisses! 
Cortland is a six-year-old cattle dog mix who is loves to play and will do anything for food!
Our Values
Steven & Amber have a great value in Laughter, Silliness and Communication! They believe that those three things are big pieces that should be prominent in one’s life as well as a family as a whole. They are not a religious couple but will encourage their child to be if they should choose. Values that they hope to pass on to their child (along with their original 3 values) is to be Honest and to show Respect to others as well as to themselves.
