Holt’s Gift Team Trip to The Philippines 2014

Are you a Holt child sponsor? Adoptive family or an adult adoptee? A Holt partner, organization or youth group looking for a meaningful opportunity to serve children and families abroad? Perhaps you are just someone interested in Holt. Then this trip is for you!

Join us on this once-in-a-lifetime trip to the Philippines, where you will have the opportunity to interact with children in Holt's care, meet the families in our family strengthening program, and learn more about Holt's work in Manila and Cebu during the festive Christmas holiday season. Our knowledgeable guides will lead the tour, provide translation and share with you the stories of the families and children you meet. Witness the impact of our programs and be inspired to serve children and families on a personal level!

Gift Team Details:
* Travel dates: December 3-11, 2014 (10 days)
* Estimated cost: Approximately $4,300-4,600 per person. The range in total cost represents varying cost of air travel from a designated departure city; type of hotel accommodations chosen by each team member; domestic flights and ground transportation within the Philippines; most meals and a non-refundable required project fee of $750 per person.


Wednesday Dec 3 International departure from designated city to Manila
Thursday Dec 4 Arrive in Manila, Philippines
Friday Dec 5 Orientation at KBF. Visit and Christmas shop with residents of single mother’s home. Visit day care centers and recipients of KBF livelihood services.
Saturday Dec 6 Visits child care centers. Christmas party. Visit with foster families
Sunday Dec 7 Sightseeing in Corridgedor, Bataan. Dinner on your own.
Monday Dec 8 Flight from Manila to Cebu. Deliver gifts to the children at RSCC Cebu and foster children. Dinner on your own.
Tues Dec 9 Flight from Cebu back to Manila. Christmas party with ILEA scholars in Paranaque and Manila City tour. Dinner on your own.
Wednesday Dec 10 KBF’s 39th anniversary celebration
Thursday Dec 11 International departure from Manila to U.S.A.

Registration Process: Please go to our registration link online to complete your contact information and to pay your non-refundable fee of $750 per traveler. You will receive an email notification once you are added to the tour. The tour coordinator will mail or email additional forms and information needed for your participation.

Required at registration:
One registration form and non-refundable project fee of $750 is required per traveler. The remainder of the trip costs and additional forms will be due prior to departure.

Holt will book flights through Azumano Travel Service once all participants are registered. We will need to know your city of origin. Holt will determine the airline for international flights based on excellent customer service, routing and ticket price after all participants are registered.

U.S. Passport Holders Entry Visas for The Philippines Not Required
American citizens with valid U.S. passports may enter the Philippines for tourist or business stays of up to 30 days.

Project Fee and Final Payment
The project fee per traveler is $750. This fee is included in the cost of the tour and should be paid at the time of registration. The project fee is non-refundable.

The remainder of the tour costs will be due prior to departure and you will be invoiced for the final amount. Methods for final payments are listed below.

Extended Travel
We prefer that the group travels and arrives together, if possible. If you are interested in spending additional time in country, we suggest that you consider planning for your stay after the tour. Please contact Holt and let us know so we can help direct you with that process!
