Hajimbu stays with his grandmother. His mother has some casual labour to supplement with the grandma, the father left the area when the mother was 4 months pregnant and not provide him any support. His grandmother is struggling to take care of Hajimbu.
Hajimbu is fairly healthy and has not fallen sick in the last couple of months.
Hajimbu stays with his grandmother together with 7 other children. His grandmother carries out peasantry on hired small piece of land for food and some income to support the family. Obviously the income she gets is usually not enough to meet the basic needs of the family. They take porridge some times to act as the meals a day and just enrolled for pre-school education but lacks scholastic material. He has tone cloths and poor bedding.
