They currently rent their Ger dwelling and the mother has to stay home to look after her young children. Without a job, the mother is facing enormous challenges to provide for her children's basic needs. The only income they receive is the child support money of 20.000 tugrik ($12) per month from the government, which is not enough to cover the needed nutrition food and other basic necessities.
She was healthy and did not have any health problems upon admission.
Munkhjin's family is poor. The single mother is raising her 4 children and lives in a Ger dwelling far from any community access and the city. The mother asked for our help through the Social Services Department of the district and we enrolled the youngest child, Munkhjin, in our Family Strengthening Program.
