Devid lives with his parents, an older brother and a younger sister. They have rice land a little bit to grow rice and the rice product could support the whole family only 5 to 6 months. They also live in debt because they borrow money from bank to treat the father?s illness. His father is a construction worker in Phnom Penh, and earn USD 10 a day, but it is not regularly. His mother stays at home to take care of children, grows rice, and raises animals. His brother is a student and his sister does not attend school yet. The family lives in a difficult situation, lacking of foods, rice and money to support their children.
He has not had any mental and physical health problem upon enrollment.
Devid was selected through the recommendation from his neighbor and village chief. The family is poor. Because of the family's bad financial situation, the child does not get sufficient nutrition intake. He also lacks in proper education.
