Hi, I'm Thyna
I'm a girl, 5 years old and live in Cambodia.
Thyna was enrolled in the community preschool by her parents. Her age was right for schooling and her parents believed that going to school could help her prepare well for grade 1. Her mental and physical health was fine upon enrollment. Thyna lives with her parents, grandparents, a brother, and a sister. She is the last child in the family. This family lives in their own house made of wood with zinc roof and they have land for growing rice. Her father is a taxi driver in Phnom Penh and he visits home once a day. Her mother is a chicken seller at the market. Her grandparents are farmers. Her siblings are student. This family has sufficient food to eat and good financial, but their children lack in proper education because the public school is far and difficult to access that is why they would like Thyna to study at community preschool nearby which is supported by Holt-International.
