Hi, I'm Vychhu
I'm a boy, 5 years old and live in Cambodia.
Vychhu was enrolled in the community preschool by his parents. His age was right for schooling and his parents believed that going to school could help him prepare well for grade 1. He looked physically and mentally fine at the time of enrollment into the program. He has good hygiene and dresses well. Vychhu lives with his parents, a grandmother, and a brother. This family lives in their own house made of concrete and they have land for growing rice. His parents work in the factory in Phnom Penh, and earns USD 200 a month; they always visit home and sends money to support their children. His grandmother grows rice and takes care of grandchildren. This family has sufficient food to eat and better financial, but their children lack in proper education because the public school is far and difficult to access that is why they would like Vychhu to study at community preschool nearby which is supported by Holt-International.
