Vera Still Needs an Adoptive Family!

Four-year-old Vera is sweet and extroverted. Her caregivers love her, and she gets along well with the other children in her orphanage. She is described as an observant and affectionate child who has a lot of love to give.

Vera is very active and loves to run and dance. She prefers listening to music over watching television, and one of her favorite songs is “Baby Shark!” She is very social and thrives when she is accompanied by her best friend or favorite caregiver.

Vera has Down syndrome and is Hepatitis B positive. Despite her challenges, Vera is a very active learner. She does not communicate verbally, but she understands and listens to her caregivers well. The best fit for Vera is a loving family with knowledge of or a willingness to learn about Down syndrome. They should be able to provide Vera with a stable routine and excellent medical, therapeutic and educational resources.
