Six-year-old Yasmin is a kind, quiet and caring little girl. She’s one of the children waiting for a permanent, loving family through adoption.
She came into care when she was around 7 months old, but she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and scoliosis. Yasmin can still independently manage her personal needs, and she can move around freely. She has a limp when she walks, but it doesn’t stop her!
Yasmin goes to school nearby, and she already learned the Pinyin characters in Chinese and how to count. She’s a quiet student, but she is excellent at imitating and learning new skills. Her favorite class is dance, and she can even recite some poetry!
The best fit for Yasmin is a loving, permanent family with the resources and openness to care for a child with scoliosis and CP — giving her everything she needs to thrive.
