New Holt Family Retreat Slated for 2020

Change is coming to Holt Adoptee Camp… Are you ready?

Holt Adoptee Camp strives to offer a variety of different programs to meet the ever-changing needs of Adoptees and adoptive families. Consolidating and expanding upon current programs for adoptive families at camp is the next step in providing greater support to our community. In July of 2020, Holt Camp will be offering a new multi-day family retreat specifically designed for adoptive families with young Adoptees. This family retreat will take place in Salem, Oregon!

For nearly a decade, Holt Adoptee Camp has offered both day  and overnight camp experiences for families with Adoptees ages 5 to 8 years old. These programs gave young Adoptees the opportunity to experience the wonders and benefits of Holt camp while adoptive parents had a chance to connect, share and learn from Holt staff and each other.

While we will continue to hold our regular, weeklong summer camps for Adoptees, our new family retreat will replace all day and overnight family camps in 2020 and serve as a natural evolution to those programs.

Like those programs, this new family retreat will provide the same opportunity for Adoptees to experience the Adoptee community in a camp setting while providing parents cutting-edge training and workshops facilitated by nationally recognized program and thought leaders in adoption. This multi-day family retreat will be an opportunity to enjoy the Pacific Northwest, spend quality family time together, learn and grow as Adoptees and adoptive parents, and create friendships, bonds and memories that will last a lifetime.

Holt Adoptee Camp will be sharing more details about this new family retreat in the coming weeks. Be sure to check out our website and Facebook page for additional camp-related announcements and dates.
